It holds up very well in rear end collisions. A Ford truck hit us at about 35 m.p.h. while we were stopped, and we only had a dent in the tailgate and a broken tail light! I have a homemade exhaust system on it, and it sounds pretty good. I found out that wheels from a Plymouth Reliant will bolt right up to it. I have new struts at all four corners, and it handles pretty good. It is starting to get a little bit tired. Some days it will only run on three cylinders until it warms up a little, but it runs fine after that. I am going to enjoy it until the day it dies.
Do some maintenance
plugs, wires, air filter, fuel filter. Possibly cap and rotor and it won't miss a beat:-) (ie, won't missfire at all)
My citation missfires a bit if I force it into low idle too early (the complicated computer controlled carburetor is having Y2K problems lol.) Once it is warm, it runs excellently:-)
