BURST INTO FLAMES WITHOUT A COLLISION. Chrysler HAS NOT TAKEN RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY FOR DAMAGES ALTHOUGH THEY SAID IT HAD to do with a short in the fuel ignition system. I have it in writing that it is their fault. If anyone else has had this problem please write to me at earthtreasur@earthlink.net.
Truck was like new with only 20,000 miles and had been well-maintained.
There had been no mechanical problems prior to this situation.
In dealing with Chrysler although they "claimed" full responsibility in writing have NOT paid for repairs, rental, storage, or ANY other costs involved. As of 3-28-03 I am still making payments, paying for insurance, paying for rental and am out over 30,000. Whats a woman to do???
It's time to get a lawyer and sue.
I agree. Seek a lawyer and sue under products liability.
