Nothing has gone wrong. Actually nothing has gone wrong on any of the three Dodge Rams I have owned in the last 8 years. I have owned a special order 1996 extended cab, a 2000 regular cab (both sports) and now a 2003 quad cab SLT. I have been very happy with all three trucks and will continue to buy Dodge products as long as they perform as well. I also own a jeep product, a 1999 Cherokee and it is just a reliable and fun to own. The wife loves it.
Peppy and fun to drive, wish it had the Hemi.
Hi the ram has been a nice truck. I've had 3 since 1994. I just bought a new one 2003 quad cab 4x4 slt 4.7L. This new engine not good. I have gone through 5 pcv valves / intake manifold gasket / 3 valve cover gaskets / and terrible gas mileage 9.9 mpg city / 12 mpg highway. In not being so happy with I took Chrysler to arbitration (CANADIAN VERSION OF LEMON LAW) AND WON. They are buying back the vehicle. It only had 9000km when I won my case. My last invoice stated that the problem should go away with warm weather AND THEY "MIGHT" have a fix by next winter. 4.7 OWNERS BEWARE.
