"Bang for your low-end buck!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Engine gave up at 190 000kms

Radiator replaced

brake lines and all cylinders replaced (rear cylinders twice)

Seats wearing very badly

Dash cracks (minor)

Carby's need to be replaced

Rust in rear tailgate

Little rust in sunroof.

General comments?

The 2 door Mazda 323 SS is a great little car for city zipping! The 1.5 Twin Carb setup up packs a serious punch for a car its age, coupled with a 5 speed manual it can still see off some new cars at the lights.

The interior is badly worn, but the list of features offsets this somewhat. Standard features included: Air Con, Electric sunroof, sports steering wheel, black/white cloth interior, AM/FM Cassette player, tacho.

Starting to fall apart in some areas, especially the interior, but I like this car so much ill be paying to fix it, rather than sell it.

I have a similar car, with 1.3 Lt fitted with the GT carburators plus additional head-work. 1st gear it reaches 30 Mph while still at 5500 rpm (it reaches 6000rpm with half the carburators used) 2nd 60mph at 6000rpm, 3rd 90mph (6000rpm) 4th and 5th... not enough road!! I love the car, full of character and VERY reliable. 130,000 miles and going strong... MPG.. he he he 27, if driven in a civilided way!

The color is G6, with beige interior and the model is the 4 door sedan, with sunroof and central locking.
