"The perfect ghetto ride"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I broke a door handle.

I put some dents in it.

I blew the shocks.

General comments?

The acceleration isn't all that great, but I can blow the doors off of those pretty little rice burners on the open highway.

It is big, long, and low. It is the perfect to just go rolling around in.

The seats are awesome. They're great for sleeping.

You're right bro it's the perfect ghetto ride.

I like mine as well, smooth and confident when I press the gas. I call it the pimp ride.

Mine was given to me by my mother and it runs great I love the stock V8 in it it gets great acceleration and it flies on the road I kept the stock receiver in it and I added 4 3 inch speakers (one in each door) and 2 new 300 watt 6x9`s with a 300 watt mono subwoofer amp in it to push the 6x9`s and the dash receiver to push the new speakers. I also added a 12 disc cd changer to it got it a new paint job all the interior has been redone in it. It looks and rides like its brand new and you can't beat the acoustics in the car or in the trunk I mean I was suprised how much punch 2 6x9`s could really have.

I got my Delta 88 (Royale Brougham Coupe) from my uncle in 1996. It needed some TLC and to be gone through. Parts for this car are dirt cheap and it's a snap to work on. I did all the necessary work it has ever needed on my own. And, it even passes the state emission test with flying colors!

The car rides like a dream and everyone that rides in it comments at how smooth and quiet the engine runs. And it really does. It's like a land yacht going down the highway. Very smooth.

My family calls it the "Big D". And big it is---perfect size trunk for bringing home some small engine projects or other things you need to haul.

Oldsmobile had a hit with this one---and the coupes are a nice touch. I like this car and plan to keep it for a while...

145k and still counting... so what if it IS your father's Oldsmobile? :)
