I have had to replace the rear right wheel bearing twice, besides that it has only been regular wear and tear.
I have driven many cars and this one is the best all around car I have driven yet. It has great get up and go, lots of room for passengers front and back, the infinity stereo sounds great and it has never left me stranded.
What was the symptoms of the front bearing going out?
I'm curious because my '96 Intrepid makes a noise while going over bumps and turning back and forth (while moving). I'm pretty sure that it is something on the right side because when I go over a bump with the left tire nothing is heard, seems normal - solid. I noticed that the bushings that secure the rack are gone. Could this be the problem, even though I notice it on the right side? Or could it be a wheel bearing?
It is definitly the bushing. I had the same problem.
