What's the fuel economy like? Reason I ask is my mother is living in the UK and has one in storage, I'm considering buying it as It's a damn nice car that I really cannot fault, and they still fetch Good money.

I love my 626, the only thing I can fault on the 4cyl models are the common problem of the "HOLD" light flashing. It has been noted that this is a common problem resulting in a transmission overhaul, incorret! It is the computer behind the dasboard that causes this problem. I had my computer replaced and the car and now drives like a dream. no "HOLD" flashing any more.

I love mine too. It looks fantastic first of all. Then of course there is the absolute quite from that 2.0l 118bhp engine. It rides brilliantly, is very comfortable and has outstanding fuel economy. It's cheap to buy and run, is conservative and as an added bonus, will leave you scared for life in a good way. It is also the first car I ever drove. I miss it and wish I still had it instead of this terrible 1995 Toyota Corolla 5 door.
