Nothing has ever gone wrong with this car. Mind you I have not had it long.
Fuel consumption is high owing to the rotary engine with a turbocharger.
This is a really quick car and the automatic option is great in heavy traffic, but no so sporty to drive as the last one I had which was manual.
This car is in mint condition and was a bargain at $5000NZD.
However it will need a rebuild at some stage.
Not too bad for a rx7 5000$ exspecialy the turbo I just got me a turbo 87 manual and I am doing a lot of upgrades to fix all the problems they ever had also I got a full rebuild on my engine along with blow off valve, pop valve, new intercooler... etc I can go on with that list I tell you this is one of the fastest and best handling cars I have ever owned I also got the suspension re-done without the computer suspension I like the feel of the non-comps they are better feeling!!
