"Granada Cosworth:You Can't Go Wrong!!!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing at all!

General comments?

Being a fan of big fast cars, I had my sights on a Granada Cosworth for ages. Although I'm now only 18 and I've previously owned a Sierra XR4x4 2.9i V6 and a Sierra 4x4 2.9i Twin-Turbo V6 Estate, I couldn't say no when I saw a Granada Cossie for the bargain price of £900!Really, there's only 1 complaint I have about this car - the very high fuel consumption (around 18mpg around town!).Apart from that, this car is spot on (I'm paying £4,800 insurance on this baby, so that should signal how much I love it!).I'll never forget the day I first got this beast. I told all my friends to meet me in a local car park because I had a new car to show them. They were all simply shocked when I rolled up in a Granada. They laughed and joked about it - until they tried to keep up with me on a motorway!!The interior features include everything you could possibly want or need in a car - electric windows/mirrors/seats & sunroof, cruise control, heated leather seats, fuel computer and best of all, so much room that at a push, you could even LIVE in this car!Anybody who's ever thought of buying a Granada should take my advice - BUY ONE NOW!Spacious, luxurious and F-A-S-T, once you've got one, you'll never want to let it go!

I've had my Cozzie 14 months now and I'm stunned by the bargain I got.

Insurance 300 a year, came with sellable plate in beautiful un-mucked about nick for 700 quid. It's fast (as in VERY if you floor it) reliable, supremely comfortable and I have an overall 28.8 mpg over 14000 miles. What more could you ask? Maybe that you can ahve a giggle watching the laddies in their souped up Novas disappear in your mirror?

It's NOT for sale.

Jim.

Just noticed how much you were paying on insurance and thought I would suggest Admiral, I am insured with them and I am only paying £1100 full comp... its worth try xx.

Funny 10th May - I've just been on their website for a quick quote for you and your Granada and the quote was £3495.

Try calling Admiral - Their Internet rates were silly for me on a Mondeo Zetec-S, but over the phone I got a bargain quote.

I have owned my pre-face Granada cossie for 2 years now, and just compleated completed a restoration. re-built engine, manual gearbox, diff, poly bushes, braided brake lines, new arches, bonnet, tyres. I had a few tricks up my sleeve when it came to the engine re-build, and the results are astonishing, saying these cars are fast is an understatement. OK I may have spent almost two grand doing it up, but I will never part with it. everything i`ve done is to make it more reliable. it handles and drives like a dream. being over 25 I can insure it as a classic car, so for under two hundred pounds a year I get to drive a 230bhp (approx) wonder bus. I fitted the same engine to my 2.8i special Capri. so soon it will be cosworth being towed to a race track by a cosworth. my only regret is I didn`t get one sooner.

So you pay over £4000 for insurance on a car worth about 500 quid! Do you want to buy some magic go fast stickers which I'm selling for £2000? They're very good and will increase the value of your car by at least 20p. Bet you're tempted!
