"Easy to make a high performance vehicle"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Rust in front doors and boot.

Door rubbers leak with age (sun makes them shrink)

No left rear view mirror make reversing a little more difficult.

General comments?

Best of all the Gemini's.

Fat wheels with lowered front makes seriously superb handling.

Bargain when need parts.

GEMINI'S RULE! they run well and look good stock, I'm only 19 but I have had my 1981 TE Gemini since I was 17. I think there nice little cars that look really good when there done up, I was like all new teenage boyz when they buy there first car, something that looks nice at the time no matter what the problems are, when I bought it it had all the basic problems :

Blown head gasket

Rust on the floor, boot and under the bonnet

Both front ball joints

Old engine that was Almost dead

oil leeks

all the door seals where stuffed.

It had:

a nice new dark blue paint job

A brushing on the bonnet

17in rims on it

VT side pannel indercater lights

Commador rearview mirrors

I bought the car for about $4,500 (I know it's a lot of money for a gemini) After I had it for A month I found out I could get A loan so straight away I heved $35,000 into it (and that didn't get me much) the first thing I did was:

put a new red top SR20DET from a Nissan Silvia

I put 2 Areo Bucket seats in,

new seat belts so I could move my seats,

new door seals

A LSD Diff From a VL turbo

3in laser cut exsust

HKS turbo timer

new front commador disk brakes

new big Batterie

Fold out T. V in the dash in-front of the front passenger seat

X Box

HKS Inter-cooler

203 turbo

12in MTX 4000watt sub.

In the following months I'm going to:

Put tan leather Interior

Black paint job

some 18in wheels (or if I can do the modification 19in/20in)

widend body

bonnet scoop

rear wing

Tubed

head rests for the back seat

a mini fridge (already purchest)

a new back rest for the back seat so I can have in the middle seat a fold down arm rest

no door handles and locks.

If anyone need help with Information with doing up Geminis, write me an email and i'd be glad to help you.
