I love how quiet this car is! :-)
Just bought a 1993 LS400 with 89,000 miles on the clock. I only paid 7,000.00 for the car which I think is a good deal. They were the original owners and have matained it perfectly, all records to prove it. They also had the car washed every 2 weeks and detailed every 3 months, something that really shows. I still have my 92 SC400 which has 82,000 on the clock which is also a great car, but needed a 4 door for work. My whole family has had amazing luck with Lexus. I love the Mercedes, but just don't want to spend the money on repairs. Lexus is much cheaper no matter what people say. If you can find one of these cars even with 150,000 on the clock that is well maintained, buy it its will go another 100,000 miles. Don't get a Mercedes if you're not prepared for the prices. I bought a 1992 MB 500SEL with 85,000 miles and sold it 6 months later for I had to put in 2000.00 just for normal matinence. I'm not going to pay that amount everytime I take it to the dealer. Yes people think I'm crazy for paying dealer prices, but I feel much more comfortable letting them do it.
