"The nicer twin to my other GP"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Service Engine Light stays on, small vacuum leak somewhere.

CV boot changed 97000.

Driver's power seat malfunctioned, can't adjust it up or down (oh well).

AC vents die out then the AC comes out of the floor vents when stomping the gas, really noticeable when going uphill.

General comments?

I like the red paint job, even if it says Cop Magnet.

The car looks real mean, handles pretty nimbly, especially with the aftermarket rims and tires.

Has some-get-up-and-move when you want it, K&N filter helps a lot.

I think your vacuum leak an ac problem may be a small black vacuum hose in the harness behind the battery, either the engine heat or battery acid makes it crack. I found it on my wife's car while changing the battery. Fleetguru@juno.com.

I have a 96 pontiac grand prix and I got it "almost new" it was two years old when I got it in 98 and it had 18K miles on it... well it now has 118K plus on it and it still moves pretty good car looks like new all except the crack under the left front fog lamp that I noticed a lot have that same issue, but all in all I like it and it has never gave me any problems... maybe two that I can think of first one was a warranty thing it had a bad power steering pump that was fixed under warranty and the other was not warranty, it was leaking coolant from the worst possible spot head gasket, I've been told that the SE motor is notorious for that leak, so far it still has the factory exhaust on it, it's been a great car... too bad there aren't any company's that make after market "performance" parts for it, they sort of skipped that year went right for the 97 and newer.
