I have read the other reviews and I'm glad that I am not the only one with these problems.
I also had a problem with the EGR valve-twice! I just took it off and cleaned the carbon chunks out of it.
My fuel pump went up around 70,000 miles. That cost me about $700 to fix.
I have had the heater core replaced twice.
The remote oil filter gasket on engine blew out.
The air conditioning had to be charged last year and will need it again this year. It must be leaking somewhere.
I'm starting to have braking problems now. I don't think the braking power is as good as it used to be. I need to get it into shop. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced the same problem?
The bottoms of the doors are starting to rust a little bit.
I replaced the driver's power window motor. The other power windows are very slow.
This truck has great power. I tow a small utility trailer with it and it does a great job. I just wish the rest of truck was as tough as the engine.
The truck is great in four wheel drive.
Truck handles good, easy to handle.
I feel the same way. I like the truck, but I have put way too much money into it. Eveey year its something new. Its kinda of funny all the problems you have I have have them fixed. Mine has a 160,000 miles so I have a rebuilt engine into it. I would have sold it if not for the engine. But it is decit, but some of the minor problems, like AC and window motors gets old.
