Just a follow-up to when I last typed this entry. I was told that the Cadillac needed a water pump, when in fact, all it needed was a thermostat. I fixed the radio on my own, but I still do plan to buy a CD player. My rear brakes were totally gone, but I soon had those replaced. Then I started hearing this clicking noise from underneath the car started, which turned out to be the motor mounts. Motor mount problems are very common among Cadillacs. They can be quite costly, but if you take your car to the right mechanic or if you get a good deal (like I did), it won't be a problem at all.
