GM I would never buy again. This is from a GM die-hard. Note that my friend has a 2002 oldsmobile in the shop for an engine change due to timing belt break. We cannot accept this quality. Gone to Japan quality!!
GM is on the way to the srcap heap.
No offense, but maybe it's your driving habits which brought on these problems. I own 2 Chevrolet Lumina's and they are great cars, no problems. I also own a 14 year old Chevrolet Cavalier with over 200,000 miles on it and it has no problems. GM's are great cars. If its not your driving habits then maybe its the fact that every manufacturer produces its share of defective vehicles.
I had a 96 and I did not care for it at all. both heads were cracked and it did a weeble wobble. That was enough to turn me away from them. I do find chevy cars to be pretty nice just not for me anymore.
