1993 Peugeot 405 mi16 from UK and Ireland - Comments

"A cheap (now) great car, not only fast, but comfy and with plenty of space for people and luggage"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing has really gone wrong, the items I've replaced have been mainly service items; with the exception of a power steering line splitting (the connection between the pump and the cooler).

General comments?

This car is known as the skip in my house, my wife hates it with a passion. But, I believe its one of motoring's hidden secrets.

It is a good sized family saloon, with enough performance to keep ahead of the majority of cars on the road, and an ability to put the power on the road and is about the best handling car I've driven.

It has never let me down in 2 1/2 years and 30k miles.

It's a shame that Peugeot haven't built an equivalent 406.

Peugeot HAS built a equal car to the MI16, just abit toned down.

The 406 TS6. 220 V6 HP.
