Firstly and the most important, the engine on my Hyundai accent 2000 has been burning oil for the past eight months and the dealership is still telling me he doesn't know what's wrong with it.
Secondly, the engine light on my car appears if I drive more than 110klm.
I have to say this is the first time I bought a car and I have never been more disappointed in the customer service industry. I am extremely appalled at the way Hyundai service men think they can blow me off just because I am a woman. To this day Hyundai service has not fixed the engine on my car. I will bring a law suite against them and they are aware of the this.
I used to have an old Honda Civic that burned oil and had the engine light come on on the highway after about 140km/h. One thing you may be able to do to correct that is to try to put in a higher octane gasoline to the tank. Another, have the mechanic check if your timing is correct on your timing belt. Both have solved my problem.
