Union between the radiator and bottom hose leaked badly, dealer fitted new 'o' ring and that lasted 2 weeks before a leak resumed. Then a new radiator and bottom hose was fitted by the dealer, this lasted 3 weeks and a leak in the same place has occured. as I type this the car is back at the garage for then to try again. All this has been covered by warranty, and I am given another car to use whilst mine is off the road.
More of a problem is the bad water ingress in the vehicle from the modutop. first the dealer changed one of the (5) glass panels, but it remained leaky!. The dealer on 2 occassions has tried to seal the rubber around the modutop, but as I type the car is with them again. rain water streams in when you first drive after the car has been parked in the rain. the front dash and floor mats get very wet.
If any one has had similar problems or can help me in any way please do e-mail me. (c.sneezum@btinternet.com)
Otherwise the car works well!
Hi, I am still the owner of the same vehicle!
Its now aug 2005 and mileage is now 52000.
Radiator leak was cured with no further problem.
Multi top leak cured by a independent body shop (glass panel seal leaking)
Drivers seat base (cushion) has collapsed on one side. Roll a quantity of bubble wrap under seat, this cures it quite well!!!
Brakes noisey from front - no fault just the sound!
CD player begining to malfunction.
Other wise I am now more pleased with the car - shall possibly buy another next year.
Hi.
I bought a Berlingo Desire Multispace HDI, a bit less than 3 years old, a couple of months ago. Very pleased with it, but have noticed the rubber seal around the Mudotop lifting in a couple of places. No rain ingress yet, but its been dry. There are some rust streaks running down from the seal in these areas, so it will have to be fixed. Local Citroen dealer, said they will probably have to send the car away to get the seal renewed, although it should be covered by the 3 year warranty. Have not heard back from them yet.
Anyone had similar problems or suggested solutions?.
