The driver's side electric window failed.
Fuel gauge sender unit failed at 78000 miles, so I had no idea how much petrol was in the tank untill it was fixed.
Nothing else.
Generally very reliable except for occasionally dubious electrics.
The LeBaron pulls away very swiftly (the joys of V6 power!). The automatic gearbox is also very smooth.
Mine is loaded with goodies such as an electric convertible top, electric seats, and cruise control.
Handling is not thrilling, but is none the less competent and more the capable of dealing with Britain's country lanes.
Dear Sir:
We have the 1993 Le Baron convertible and, it smokes like a chimney! We were told that perhaps the valve guide rubbers were starking to go bad. I was also told that, the "silver valve cover" engine was faulty and this causes it to smoke.
We are not mechanically inclined and, we want to replace the whole motor. Is there a solution for this problem? We love this car as it is fast, as well as, good looking. We want to restore it and place it in storage for our Sunday drives.
We would also like to know how can we make it faster from the stock engine it has now. If you read this and you can help us we would be very grateful. Thank You
