Block heater was not installed during pre delivery as was supposed to be done.
Windshield cracked next day after taking it off lot - dealer would not fix the problem.
Body moulding peeled off - took over a month to get a call back from dealer or parts.
Took months to get s door shell and internal parts after driver door damaged in minor accident.
A second accident took out the whole side of the van, mirror and glass - 9 cars on street were also damaged - the Sedona was still in the shop when all my neighbours cars were back on the road.
Dealer service was pathetic. Customer Service was lousy. Brought to dealer attention many times, nothing was ever done.
Had to hound them to get anything done.
Calls were never returned.
Always long delays to get parts - 1 month or more.
We owned this van for a very short time.
Again, Dealer service was pathetic. Customer Service was lousy.
Originally tried buying it from another Kia dealer in town (2 dealers here) and they played games on the delivery - promising it would be ready for pickup in two days and in the end after 14 days it was still not on the lot - then the deal was called off, but I had to threaten them to get my deposit back.
Always long delays to get parts - 1 month or more.
In the end the dealer took it back and we got a Ford Windstar.
We had the same issues with our Sephia LS car and the dealer took it back and we got a Ford Focus.
Even numerous letters, faxes, emails, phone calls to Kia Canada resulted in no action or even a call back.
I would strongly encourage no one especially in Canada to buy a Kia.
Isn't KIa Canada a joy to deal with! I really like it when they tell you their dealers are independent businesses and can charge and do what they like. Thanks for your support Kia Canada, its made my Kia ownership an experience I'll never forget.
