"Great reliable power"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I had to replace the slave cylinder and master cylinder at around 116k.

Replaced alternator at 120k.

4x4 actuator recently went out at 122k leaving me stuck in the dirt, should have been a recall part.

Most recently my a/c compressor froze up and that now needs a replacement.

General comments?

All and all most of the problems are to be expected at this many miles.

It's a good, reliable truck, I really enjoy the ride, and fun to off road in.

I have a 95' chevy Z71 with a 350 and it has 177k miles on it and I haven't had to replace any major components or parts and I don't exactly baby it. I wasted no time when I got the truck. It got an add a leaf for the rear and torsion bars turned on the front with some 33x12.50 Yokohama Geolandar's "good tires". Set up the way it is it has more ground clearance in front than a 99' Z71 with a 6" suspension lift and 35's "I know it doesn't make sense and the guy with the other Z can't stand it". My best friend has a 02" Ford FX4 Supercrew with a 3' body lift and a winch, and its been in the shop already with a new transfer case and some front end work tryin to keep up with me. My Z never stays muddy, it gets waxed and the carpet gets shampooed every weekend. I have always been a chevy fan and drove nothing, but GM trucks and now I know why. I think everyone should own one. In my opinnion they are the best trucks made.
