Um, where to begin. transmission at 114k, horn, cruise, radiator, radiator, radiator, egr valve, egr valve again, 2 converters in 9 months, failed emissions and blew the trans in the same month.
Loved the gas mileage... still unsure why this car could get over 20mpg/400 per tank, when most cars with V6's are only getting about the same.
'91 was the first year on that new body style of these cars, gotta expect some bugs. I'm sure a later model ('95? '96?) would be much more reliable.
I would almost suspect an electrical fault causing those kind of problems.
The '91 was the first year model to use the Throttle Body Fuel Injection system. I love my 20MPG. Moved one engine over to a truck body, it still gets great gas mileage. Go figure.
