"A great car for it's time"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The starter motor had to be replaced.

There is a loud crunch every gear change.

Wind screen leaks water.

Muffler has a big rust hole in it.

General comments?

A fantastic car for $250 it is very

gutsy for a 4 cylinder.

Nice interior with every thing in working order.

Barely anything gone wrong with it.

Lol a crunch every gear change?? what happened there??

Hehe I'm a fellow sigma owner, I got my car the other week and I'm going to put in an astron 2 head (which I have spare) in it and I'm thinking of extractors, but for $290 I'm also thinking of the price... hmm.

Hey does anyone know if an astron 2 head will 'slot into' the astron 1 body?

Hey another sigma owner here, I own a 83' auto 2.0lt model and am interested in putting an electronic supercharger on the engine, its cheap and will add enough hp to make me happy, but before doing this I need to know how much hp the model I own has, so I can calculate the exact hp I will gain through this cheap modification. cheers.

Yes - I know.

There's no stigma in owning a Sigma.

What on earth is an electronic supercharger??? For what it's worth, these cars were rated in NZ at 76 kW, which is about 100 bhp, when they were new. Aussie spec cars may be a little down on that, but don't quote me. Great cars!

Yes the Astron 2 head will fit on an Astron 1, because the only difference between Astron 1 and Astron 2 is one is leaded petrol and the other is unleaded.
