2003 Chevrolet Astra CD Sedan from Brazil - Comments

I Bought it in march of this year, and until now, I hadn't any kind of problem yet.

The car is running perfectly.

Dealer service was good, however the car, did not arrive at the stated period foreseen, by the dealer.

This car is much better compared, to my previous 2001 Golf Comfortline 2.0 manual.

It's my first, automatic car and I'm very excited with it.

Forget all that, thing about "automatic cars are for old people", after you drive the Astra you gonna, think different about it.

This car is quite fun to drive.

Compared with another car of it class, like: Civic, Corolla, Focus and Golf.

I think the Astra much better.

I also think that this Astra is really good, with its Flexpower engine and the automatic transmission. But there is one thing that Astra will never beat VW Golf: construction quality and dashboard materials. Let's suppose you paid like R$50.000,00 thousands in this car (I think this is wrong.. but nevertheless) but do you really feel you are in a car of this price? I don't think so. The main problem of this car in my opinion is the great amount of cheap plastic of bad quality, despite the bad construction. That's why I would not change a VW Golf for a Chevrolet Astra. I think when one spend so much in a car, you have the right to be spoiled a little bit, which doe not happen with this car!
