"Why buy a civic when you can get better performance from a prelude"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The only thing that has gone wrong with the car since it was new, Was the distributor. It went at about 135k and I know this is the only thing that has gone wrong with this car since it was new because, My friends father owned it since it was New.

General comments?

This car is extremely good at both handling and power.

Being the car has only 160hp as apposed to the 190hp on the vtec it is still surprisingly quick.

Plus there are so many after market items you can buy for these cars, Not as many as the Civic, but quite a few

I've added a Cold air intake, Header, Cams Cam Gears, Underdrive Pullyes and a Venom Intake and it is very quick now.

It pulls 13's in the 1/4 mile and Produces 263hp for less than $2.000 Try that with other cars.

As for handling I've added KYB AGX shocks and coil overs along with shock tower braces and frame stiffeners. This car is ready for the SCCA racing

over all what I'm trying to say is for the money why by a CIVIC when you can get a better car with more power and better handling from the factory and Upgrade from there I LOVE my car and won't get rid of it even if you did pay me.

Not such thing as a twin turbo WRX? I thought you could mod it. or can't you not mod them to a twin?

Porch monkey??? pure classic. I burned a tri hundred turbo WRX in my Civic, too. Get real. The only thing you can beat in a Civic is your Grandma's Escort wagon. And that's only if she gives you a head start.

In Japan Subaru offers a twin turbo engine for the legacy. The twin turbo engine is more for fuel economy than power. Twin turboing a 4 cylinder engine is not a good way to produce power because the engine does not have enough exhaust gas velocity to spool two turbos, unless they are incredibly small. And a small turbo will more than likely lead to less power. If you look at factory twin turbo cars like Supras, RX-7s, and Skyline's they will change over to a single turbo set up for higher horsepower.
