"Very reliable..."

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing as of this date.

General comments?

This is the most reliable thing I have ever seen. I've really done nothing to this car besides change the oil, and nothing has happened to it. I love this car, everything about it is so right for me.

You did nothing? You have to change the timing belt at 60k...or this would cause engine failure.

That's true, but the 4afe/7afe engine technically wouldn't damage themselves, since the valves never come in contact with the piston...

I had a 96 Prizm LSi, bought it with 58,000 miles and used it primarily to deliver newspapers at night (pretty hard on the car). Never changed timingbelt. The only things I had to fix were brakepads, 2 driveaxles (probably because of the pretty harsh driving), and the waterpump belt. It had 165,000 miles on it when I sold it and there were no real problems with it except perhaps the need for transmission service.
