A solid, reliable work truck. Yes, it has a rough ride and sits high, and the turning radius is like an ocean liner, but it wasn't designed to be a yuppie ride. The solid Dana axles and leaf springs are made for WORK!
The Cummins turbo diesel is nothing short of amazing! It has the power to haul and/or pull almost anything you want. My truck is a dually 4x4 automatic with 4.10 gears that still gets 15mpg on the highway, which is 2mpg more than my light duty 1995 F150 4x4 previously got! I am very pleased so far, and highly recommend a 1st generation Ram diesel to anyone who wants a serious hauler and doesn't mind a "solid" ride.
I would have to agree with you. I am the proud owner of a 1992 Dodge cummins W250 and wouldn't trade it for the world.
I agree... see my comments on my '95 under the other '95 3500.
It's the best truck I have ever had.
I just bought my 92 dodge and I already love it theres a few hard parts to find when you need to fix it up, but that's is very seldum that you even need to do work on it the only word that fits this trucks is its just a "beast" I love it.
