"An excellent car that is grossly underated"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Apart from normal replacement parts on regular servicing, the only item to fail has been the battery on holiday in France in 98.

General comments?

I have no reason to part with this car for a long time to come. It is reliable, comfortable and uncommon. I am going to convert the car to LPG as a means of reducing running costs.

If you remove your air filter to a racing filter, you will never again get another car. Fuel consumption is even reduced - speed increased and THAT sound of the engine - like a Gold-wing motorbike on full throttle or Ferrari zzzooooom. Uphill in NORWAY is like driving on the plain - loads of power.

I have used this Legend for years without surprise - it still looks new outside and inside. I still wonder why it has not been "discovered". It's like flying RAF. Use APS 0-50 oil.
