General comments?

We bought our car at 39609 mile within the first 1000 we had to have the new water pump, battery and engine replaced, along with suspension fixed. (We call it the "crap-a-lak").

The car fishtails when we hit bumps in the road no matter what speed.

And the electrical well--- it's electrical. Numerous tail lights, smoking steering wheel (air bag was bad).

Sometimes the seat will move forward to adjust to my height after working with it for awhile.

I do have to agree that the dealers are right when they told us that the Cadillac Seville STS (stabilitrak system) "is a rougher ride" (I am just curious if they meant the car or your mental stability) also, it truly is a "LOVELY CAR" as they say.

I really wish it was what they make the car out to be. IT IS COOL LOOKING!

Sounds like you bought a wrecked car here? I think the lemon law would've applied in your case and I would've sued the dealer/owner who sold me such a headache.

I bought a 93' STS with a new motor that was improperly butchered into the car (by Chevy Dealer and not Cadillac):( and had a ton of problems as a result. I just hope to hell that the 99' I just purchased isn't half as bad.

I don't see also how you can rate the performance so low, but with an engine being bad originally, I assume you're rating the bad engine, and not the new.

The gentlemens car sounds to me that it was flooded and wrecked, always go over something before you buy.
