1995 Citroen AX Dimension from UK and Ireland - Comments

The radio stopped working but I fixed it myself. Other than that, nothing.

A fun car to drive, is very light and looks very unsuspecting. What the boy racers don't realise is that this will do 0-60 in 10 seconds. My only problems with the car are the notchy 4 speed box, the brakes that are a little poor and the unsupportive seating. Other than that, this definately IS the small car for big adventures.

I own a AX and I can defintely say that this car does not do 0-60 in 10 seconds more like 10 seconds plus 25. I have had nothing but problems with this car ever since I bought it brand new in 1996. the brakes have been changed twice the gearbox was faulty and the suspension is something out of the flintstones. the stereo was poor so I went to change it and didn't realise I needed a blanking out plate so now my stereo looks completely wrong for the surroundings oh and finally why did citroen have to make ocean green a colour and worse why did I ever think that it looked OK?

I have an AX and it is the perfect car - cheap, fast and will last for ages.

Stop whinging about the AX. I don't think that it does 0-60 in 10 seconds. I would say about 13-14 seconds, but it feels a damn site quicker than that. It's a hoot to drive around town and has a hint of the fun that the Mini has.

I have an AX dimension and I have to say it is brilliant, OK the suspension is wallows, but it is quick and I take great delight in caning Novas and Fiestas now and again, I drove a 1275 mini for a while and the 954 Citroen is quicker and more comfortable and it has really good looks for an old car. I also do mobile discos now and again and the whole lot fits in the back. also the Amazon green really makes it shine well.

I own a citroen ax cascade 954 cc 1996. I payed £500 for it. I think it is the best cheap little car I ever owed, its ever so nippy, I love it.

I've passed my driving test 5 months ago and I finally got my ax last week. from what I can make of it this car is very smart for being a ten year old. I bought it with a full years mot and in the first two days one of my headlights had actually fallen right out, but I'm not going to complain because from the last 6 days I have to say I like it. I got from 0-60 in 13secs and I have to say that's not bad. because of the weight of the car I felt like I was going to role the thing over when I had to turn my first corner, but I got used to it now. for being a 4 gear manual 1000cc this car is the biz for getting to work and back.
