1990 Nissan Stanza XE from North America - Comments

I did not have any problems until 2002.

My alternator went out at 137,000 miles.

The timing chain had to replaced last November at 155,000 miles.

I replaced brake pads and ball joints this past summer.

My rear struts are going bad now.

Overall, the car has been very reliable.

I think I've had average problems for a car 13 years old.

I bought the car from a mechanic, and I

have a great family friend who works on the car now.

I have not had to put a great deal of money into this car.

The interior of the car is in great shape!

There are some rust spots on the exterior(it snows every winter).

I plan on getting the car repainted soon.

My rear struts seem to be going out also. Any suggestions?
