This car has been the most reliable car we've ever owned. It's 17 years old, and it still gets up and goes every morning without question, and takes us to wherever we want to go. The only reason it costs a little more for running costs is because the carburetor is out of tune, but that's to be fixed shortly. Comfortable to ride in, handles well, and always ready to work.
Ref 86 Celebrity carburetors:
Throttle valve shaft wears ovaloid hole in carb body, causing vacuum leak; GM should have used a bushing. Cure in addition to rebushing: install thin plastic or metal washer onto shaft against carb body to seal most of the leak. Robbie.
