1993 BMW 3 Series 318is from UK and Ireland - Comments

"E36 ZeeMax!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The engine exploded no thanks to me driving the car like a Formula 1 race car.

The rear wheel bearing or hub collapsed twice. I am not aware of the actual reason for this happening, but I think it has something to do with just diffing the car the same way.

My front anti-roll bar happened to just "fall off" one day for no apparent reason.

A fuse keeps on blowing up under the engine bay that controls all the electrics for my instrument dials and all my lights on the right hand side of the car...WEIRD! I think its due to my shoddy unqualified workmanship.

General comments?

MMM 20 years old and on his second BMW. I DON'T THINK SO!!! You can't afford the running costs at your age and anyway with all the mods you wish you had the cost of running the car would be HUGE!!! If it is true, you have won the lottery, a very spoilt child or a drug dealer.

One more thing buddy. Are you selling the car here? At general comments I don't see anything, but describing it. In a cheaply-immature manner. Any impressions about driving it? My 2 cents: I don't think you have ever owned such a thing, but in your dreams. Grow up!

Don't hate. On Long Island near where I live (Queens, NYC), I see spoiled brats driving G35 Coupes, Jaguars, new 330ci's and every other manner of car my parents wouldn't ever dream of paying for, so don't be jealous that he has a used 318, more power to him.

Hey guys,

this is my car as it states and I have a few links to it.

It has been sold since last november and I bought a Toyota Starlet Glanza V Turbo DOHC 16v FWD TRD BBS car.

I have put up a few reviews about the cars I have owned and here is some of them.

Maybe hes a smart kid. I had a Corvette before I got married in 1974 at age 21. My parents never bought it or insured it and I had an apt... its called being self sufficient.

Gee.. before 21..I've had a VW GTI, A pontiac fiero, VW Cabriolet, Porche 944 and finally I settled on a tricked out Acura Integra. I started working at a gas station which had a shop..It's not that hard if you work for a living... even if it is part time..

I started working at 16 and before I was 21 I had a collection of 4 classic mustangs (64.5, 65, 67GTA, 70 Mach I) a Honda Civic that I bought brand new at 18, and a Honda Accord that was 1 year old when I was 20. I had all of these cars at the same time and all were daily drivers. The 67 GTA and 70 Mach I were both fully restored 94 and 97 points at show. So if you do things right you can afford this sort of lifestyle at an early age. By the way, I have lived on my own since I was 17 and my parents were borrowing from me so it's not always as it seems...

Wow, I've had a go-kart with DOHC & Turbo, a BMX with twin exhausts & flashing lights and a skate board with huge alloys all before I was ten!!! This is so pathetic.
