Gasket where sensor enters transmission.
OEM stereo went bad about 1.5 years into ownership.
I agree - my stereo quit too but the SONY I put in ROCKS so, in the end, I'm better off. This is the least expensive car to buy and own I've ever had so I'm not complaining a bit.
I have an SE with the active stereo, what ever that means, and it too puked. the stereo was really good, but the JVC I put in is just as good or better.
