As for things that have gone wrong with this car, there are very few.
I have had to replace the brakes.
Of course tires with the amount of miles the car has run.
Only a small a vacuum leak.
And the timing belt pulley go bad.
I tuned the car up at 100K miles.
I have recently run into a problem that I cannot quite put my finger on. It feels like a vacuum leak again, but, what an awesome trouble free car it has been.
Being 6'5 and 240lbs this is not the most comfortable car, but having put over 100k miles on the car in just a few years, I have been very pleased with how comfortable it has been.
I checked out Honda and Toyota before I settled on this car and well I payed thousands less and have had a relatively trouble free car.
Who says that the Domestic automakers don't know how to build quality.
Am I a fan, sure. But with quality like this who wouldn't be.
Thanks for the super review, have you had any transmission problems?
Do you want to trade. I've put 2times as much in to my car as I paid. I've never been a car abuser I do routine maintenance,i don't drive like an idiot. But I've still replaced engine, transmission, timing belt, wiring harness, fuse box, starter, battery cables, battery and terminals, also my left mirror doesn't work and when I pop the trunk my gas door opens last week my lever for the gas door started malfunctioning so now I have to pop the trunk to open the gas, After I got the car back a month ago from having a new timing belt put on the car lost all power. if I have to go up a hill from a dead stop a ford fiesta could out run me and for get up hill on ramps I now plan my driving directions according to the smallest inclines and the most down hills and straight aways cause that the only time my car acts normal. any one got any clues email me at kym_21@hotmail.com.
