"Great car, No problems"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The power steering stopped working at 5000 miles. Was fixed under warranty and only needed to be flushed. They said that there was air in the hoses. How it got in there I have no idea.

General comments?

Lets start out by saying this is a Mitsubishi under a Chrysler skin. The coupes always have been. The engine transmission and frame are Mitsubishi, all Chrysler did was stretch the frame and add new sheet metal.

This car has had no major issues like the old model has had. They were redesigned in 2001 and they are a thousand times better. The only problem I had was the power steering in all of the 20,000 miles.

This car is suprisingly fast. It can really throw your head back.

The seats are a little hard for long trips, but great at adjusting to make you feel like you belong in the car.

The rear seat is tight for three, but holds 2 OK.

The trunk is huge and the seats fold down to make it even bigger. It has come in handy many times. This car is a lot larger than it looks.

I get about 25 MPG average. That's pretty good for a high tuned V6. I do a lot of around town driving too, not just highways.

This car has been very reliable and is very fun to drive. It looks awesome on the road.

The Infinity sound system with 7 speakers sounds better than most aftermarket systems.

I recommend this car and will buy another.

IF YOU DRIVE A 1999 SEBRING LXi COUPE AND BATTERY DIES PREMATURELY IT IS DUE TO THE POWER AMP LOCATED IN THE TRUNK OF THE CAR.

Have your transmission checked and flushed. Just had mine blew up without any signs. Cost of repair was a bit over 5000$
