So far nothing has gone wrong with the car I bought it because I had a 96 intrepid before and it never gave me any problem.
This car is handles really good and it runs very good when the temperature is at normal if its cold then you don't feel the horsepower or the torque.
What does the fact that your '96 Intrepid ran flawlessly have to do with your new car? It's not the same car... and probably will die within the month..
I agree with the previous comment. your car will probably blow it's engine or transmission before 90,000 miles. mine did and within 6 weeks of each other. back to dodge it goes I am not going to put any more of my money into that crap car!
We bought a 2001 Intrepid SE from a local used car dealer. The car had been a program car, with 91,000 miles on it when we bought it.
We now have over 108,000 miles on it, with no problems. I had to replace the brake rotors because the old ones made the car shimmy when you put on the brakes (especially bad during hard braking). With the new rotors, there is no shimmy whatsoever.
This has been a good car for us. I have read reviews from one extreme to the other. Maybe we just got a good one. The small 2.7L V-6 doesn't get as good gas mileage as I thought it would, but that's true with a lot of cars.
