ABS Brakes at 60,000
Brake Master Cylnder 65,000

Speedometer jumps around.
I got this beacuse my uncle works at Ford and was able to get me a good discount, that discount has long since been sucked up in repair cost.
We are selling this POS before anything more can go wrong with it.
We are not a Honda/Mazda/Toyota family for the rest of my life.
I must agree with this review. My father owns a 1996 windstar and has had all of the mentioned problems as well as others. I bought a 1997 in 2001, because I got a great price on it. We picked it up for $5500 with 50000 miles on it. It ran great for first 2 years, now we have put ABS, head cover gasket, and the speedometer went out. They want $650 for a new one! I wrote Ford, and they ignored me. I would never buy another Ford, which is what I told them when I wrote to them. I also explained that my father owned 1964, 1973,1980,1988, and his present 1996 ford. He too will no longer be a ford man. Perhaps they should meet with the folks at toyota and get a few tips on how to build a quality vehicle!
