2000 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 convertible from North America - Comments

"Big bang for small bucks!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Both power windows have broken down.

Top lining as come undone.

Knock in engine at start-up, and when warmed up is "normal" says dealer.

Strange thumping sound when turning left denied by dealer.

General comments?

Vehicle looks sharp, and I get a lot of compliments.

General assembly is embarrassing. Mismatched fender/door panels, falling off knobs, popping out controls, wide gaps in interior.

Excessive tire wear, even though the vehicle is "babied".

This is my third Camaro, I expect these problems, and I enjoy driving my car.

I had the same car and I couldn't believe when I read your comments---they're all true! It was my dream car until I had it for a couple of months---the rocker panels didn't sit flush with the door, and I had to be moving to have the car look nice...

I took the car in to the dealer I bought it from and they denied all problems that I complained about---

Nice looking car, very fast, but you have to get a second job to keep it looking nice.
