The only things that have gone wrong is my heater control valve went out, and my map sensor is out. Other than that it has only gone through typical maintenence, like tire's, belt's, and hoses.
My baby runs like a dream still! The transmission shifts fine, The motor is still in excellent condition. My passenger side was dented up when I was playing in the mud, However, the tree incident didn't even throw my alignment off.Furthermore, I love my truck!I recommend everyone to give the D-150 a try.
Right on!
I crashed mine into a nasty ditch, tipping it up on it's side. Once the tow truck righted it again, I drove it home with no problems! These trucks are tough!
My 1990 Dodge D150 Club Cub (brought in 1992) is still running with no major problems or repairs done on it. Normal wear & tear parts replacements are "normal" like brake pads, oil & air filters, etc. These trucks were made to last!
I love my 93 D-150 extended cab pick-up like no other vehicle I've ever owned. She's been around the complete north american continent and although a tune up might be in order, is still plugging along. I've never thought the long bed club cab was a good looking vehicle by a long shot, but I've gotten so many compliments it's wierd. I'd buy another over a Chev, but their godd too.
Yep. I bought one from a lien sale for 0nly 600 bucks not running and she could use a paint job. I took her home, charged the battery, and gave her a wash. 100K miles later with standard maintanence. She is 189k now I still use her to tow or haul things. It's a tough one. I have owned a Ford F150, Chevy K5 and the Dodge has a more balance feel between power and durability. Oh and tune up parts are cheap.
