1997 Dodge Dakota Sport from North America - Comments

I have not had any problems with my truck at this time.

My truck is a 4X4, with a 5.2 liter V-8, and a (5) five speed manual transmission. This truck out-performs all other trucks in it's class, especially towing (on or off road). There is proof on paper, read it yourself. I can't tell you they are all the same, but if anyone has half the truck I have, they would agree we got our money's worth. As for performance, how about 0-60 in under 6 seconds, without any upgrades. Keep in mind this is a 4X4, with 32" off-road tires. So how do I rate this truck on a scale from 1-10? I would give it a 12.As for ride and comfort? I would give it a 12. This is the best riding, and one of the most comfortable trucks I have ever owned.

I can't understand why people say they own a piece of junk, when after all, they test drove the thing. If they didn't like it they should have bought something else (bar none).

I cannot believe you said such a thing. Problems started after the test drive as I am sure it did with the others.
