Screeching of drivers side window, when closing.
Could be quieter. I get wind noise.
Problem free.
Handles tight.
I also have a 2001 Maxima GLE. My driver's side window screeched (worse than fingernails on chalk). The problem is that the rubber that surrounds the window down in the door well deterioriates and small pieces break off. When those small pieces get into the sliding channel for the window, they screech. Had it into the repair shop 4 times before they figured it out. The other times they just sprayed lubricant into it or did something to get the rubber pieces out of the channel. Now the rubber has been replaced and it is quiet and wonderful. I love everything about the car, except it could use about 50 more HP for driving in the Denver area. Charles.
