"Roomy family car"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Distributor failed- quite expensive at $360 to replace.

Squeaky brakes even after having brake pade replaced and drums machined.

Losing control of back end in the wet, on curves, tyres good, so don't know what the problem is here.

The hard vinyl on the centre console is chipping and looks ugly.

Disconnected from battery to fix distributor and have no security code for radio... Ford charges $15 to give number... that sucks!!!

General comments?

This model is roomy and comfortable for a family. Has lots of power for uphill and towing. power switch for extra grunt uphill.

I am thinking of trading to a later model ford, probably 1999.

Please don't buy an AU, they are horrible evil for lemons, get a 2004 BA, or go 97-98 and get an EL.

I own a ford falcon EB series 2 station wagon 1992, I bought it from a car yard and I have had a lot of work done to it. It is a great car, its has a lot of guts if well looked after. My car has done the right thing by me and so I will do the right thing by it. Remember what comes around goes around, so if you kick it in the guts it will repay you back. The brakes will squeal as it is common in the make of this car, It costs a lot of money to get it fixed.
