The Exhaust leaks.
The Carburetor Doesn't Work right.
The Jeep will not Idle.
It runs ruff.
Vacuum Leaks everywhere.
Jeep Wrangler is Awesome off road when it runs right.
It is Fun to drive in the summer.
I would have to agree on the carb issues. I recently removed the stock aircleaner, and replaced it with a edelbrook aircleaner. The increase in available power was significant to say the least. But trying to plug off eliminated vacuum hoses and removing unnecesary stuff is becoming a pain in the behind. I've been advised by other Jeep owners to replace the stock carb with a weber, but I'm having trouble finding one, or any real help as far as conversion. Anyone have any ideas?

Go there to find more information on thee weber carb conversion. The forums there are full of great help on jeeps. They should be able to help solve your problems.
I have a 91 jeep with the fuel injection so it runs great all the time.
The Idle problems are all caused by two small tubes (idle tubes) in the carb which get clogged. If you look down the throat of the carb while the engine is running you shouldn't be able to see anything as the fuel is a fine vapor. If you see fuel dripping down the throat from the center then the tubes are clogged. Remove the upper throttle plate and remove the two screws and slowly pull up the center piece to reveal the tubes then clean out with carb cleaner. Be careful not to drop the small ball bearing under the assembly. then reassemble. This should cure the idle problem. The dripping fuel causes a rich condition and the carburetor with stepper motor tries to compensate for, causing the bad idle.
