This car has great performance that will make you shiver. I needed a CV joint and the black box inside the distributor. It gives me 140 kilometres for every 10 dollars. That's great by Ireland's standards. I put a performance exhaust on and made my own performance air filter by drilling holes in the air box. This I read in Max Power magazine. I found the shop performance air filters were slowing the car down esp. at low end speeds. The car is still with me and is a very powerful 4 banger car that will out sprint any 4 or 6 cylinder car.
I also have a 1989 Honda Prelude 2.0 16v 4ws black model. I superchipped, air filtered, and now sports exhausted it. The Integra vtec is faster still yet when the Prelude reaches the high end the handling takes the prize. For handling the Prelude, for fabulous performance the Integra. If only I could put the 4ws on the vtec.
Your car is V-tech? I thought 1st gen integras where non v-tec. I don't know about in your country, but here in usa 89 integras do not have v-tec.
