Shocks need to be changed after every six months, Body parts such as doors are making noises, and it is so uncomfortable that I prefer a bike on it.
The suspension must be upgraded, quality of plastic used in dashboard should be improved and most of all price should be reduced about 30%.
My dear Suzuki Mehran owner.
I would rather recommend you to buy any acceptable to you an old model of Toyota Corolla (A Japanese model or reconditioned one) convert the fuel system with CNG Compressed Natural Gas one.
Try it, it will cost to fuel efficiency of a Motorcycle with the pleasure of a car. this was my first hand experience.
An advise to you no matter what you can afford, do not buy new models assembled in your country. Simply It is not the value of money.
Choice is yours.
I want to give some appreciation to Suzuki motors for manufacturing a comfortable and economical car in this age when everything in the market is pricing to the sky. It's a great car for low salaried people. A little price reduction would definitely be a great contribution for the middle class and lower middle class comunity. Anyway, it's a great car. I appreciate though there is always a need for improvement in materials and metalurgy, to meet the requirement of the time.

For those who call Suzuki Mehran a good car for low-salaried people, I don't know what you guys meant by that! It's true (to some extent) that it is cost-efficient in terms of Gas consumption, but only when very-well tuned up otherwise it can cost you the Gas u'd spend on a 1000cc car! Besides that, being the owner of a Mehran you could be found anytime anywhere by the road with the hood open looking for a mechanic! It's a very unreliable car which can ditch you anytime anywhere! If you don't believe me, start noticing the cars stalled by the road, u'll find that 99% of them are Mehrans! Apart from that, the quality of everything in Mehran is worse than poor! Even the children's toys r being made with better plastic!!! Still, as someone above said, "The choice is urs!"
