"It's a jeep thing!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

In three years I have had one problem with my Jeep. The Battery, and I live in AZ. in 120 degree weather 4 months out of a year.

General comments?

1999 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4.0L Sahara edition. Plenty of power from the factory at over 180hp with 3.73 gear ratio and a GVWR of 3,000 lbs. In comparison to a 99 Ranger with 160hp and about 1,000 additional lbs, I LIKE JEEP!The Wrangler also has a million options. From hard top to soft top - no top to bikini top. Fits 31 x 10.50 tires stock, and inexpensive lift kits and upgrades are available everywhere. Shift on the fly four wheel drive, and will out four wheel any truck stock. You will never have a hard time fitting in a parking spot and could climb a tree to get there if needed. I forgot to mention the turning radius. The wrangler can circle the base of the tree you climbed to get to the compact parking spot that your Ranger couldn't fit in. If your looking for a Jeep I recommend a hard top, but it takes space to store. They also sell $99.00 hoists that mount in garage's to take your hard top on and off and store for the summer. The in line 6 cylinder is a must too. It is a sweet motor and will run forever if taken care of properly.

The Wrangler does not get the greatest gas mileage. I must be honest its like driving a box down the road. The windshield is also something you will have to deal with, the angle makes it a rock magnet. But hey, free glass coverage takes care of that. The Wrangler is also a little noisy on the road especially with the soft top. If you can't deal with these minor things and you still don't understand BUY A RANGER!But I love my Jeep!

How many km do you get per tank of gas.
