I received this car as a gift from my uncle, it was his car previously. It came from being in the snow and sleet to the humid and dry weather. The pipes underneath had to be replaced because they were rusted and corrosive from the salt that is placed on roads during the winter. I have used this car as a means to get to school and work, and it gets really good gas mileage.
My whole family has a metro. it is our favotite car! we have never had a problem with them! it is the most reliable car on the road. yes it is a great starter car, but when fuel prices rise we will still be driving down the road while the street racers and truck lovers are still home waiting for the prices to go down. I have replaced my speakers just to get the sound for the subwoofers I put in. the car doesn't even make a little rattle. the thump is amazing for the kind of car that it is in. if you see me driving down the road and hear a geo thumping. look again because it is the geo not some civic or over done neons. I honestly think that in the next fast and the furius they should put a geo in it! even if it a storm.
