"A nine-second beast"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The alternator went and it stopped me on the side of the highway after the battery died.

The bucket seats were flaking so I replaced them with Recaro racing bucket seats and belts.

The standard radio died so I replaced it with a Sony sound system

The tacho died so I ripped it out and replaced it with a AutoMeter 10 grand monster tacho.

General comments?

It is a beast and it is a pleasure to drive.

But if you aren't used to big block V8 power I wouldn't recommend driving it.

It has also got 2 400 watt Sony subs in the boot and 2 6x9 200 watt Sony speakers in the rear dash panel.

RCA DVD player and 7" RCA flip-down screen where the courtesy light was and it faces into the back seats.

Twin Holley carbs and air filters with nitrous ports which are fed from two NOS tanks located under the back seat.

A nine-second car is gotta be worth somthing, I reckon 30-35grand.

I think your car sounds wicked!

I think the 30 or so year old cars should not have modern components fitted. For example: the NOS tanks. even though they make it go faster it is more common practice to find NOS tanks in the Japanese cars. a much better approach, if you had the money, would be to put a 424 chevy in or maybe even a 525 and then supercharge it, resulting in a 6-7 sec car!!!

You don't need nos to make your torana go you need the right feul big valves and three carbys and a strong steel crank pref 221 ford 6cyl and pistons go to 235 stroker this is for 186 engine blocks only.

Why triple carbs and a stroker to 235? Its already got a 305 V8 and twin 2bbl holleys! You don't know what you're talking about mate!
