Your misspelling of "bullet" gives rise to an interesting idea: what if they had made the movie "Bullitt" with the central character driving an Escort diesel instead of a hemi Challenger.
Instead of the big fireball at the end---a dented front bumper.
The writer of the previous comment seems to have confused the movie "Bullitt", in which a '68 Mustang appeared, with the movie "Vanishing Point" which featured a Challenger which does crash into a bulldozer and explode at the end of the movie.
